Cameo started doing graffiti in 1996. He wanted to do the best that he could
so he tried to paint and draw almost everyday. At first Cameo had very
little patience for the time that it takes to paint a nice piece, usually
doing 2 or even 3 pieces while his friends did one. He became known for
doing symmetrical letters as well as various simple fonts. Cameo very much
kept to himself. Writers would see a new piece with no trace of who painted
it, he was like a ghost. In 2003 he slowed down on painting because of other
interests and hobbies. He painted only a handful of pieces until 2006 when
he got the itch again. He found the can control never left his hands but the
search for his style again took some time. Now in 2008 Cameo has gotten more
involved in the art community, it has helped him paint as much as possible
and given his work a wider audience.
