Visual art is a beautiful outlet for human creativity. I’ve used it for years to express myself, comment on social/environmental issues and make my living. It was only after studying environmental science in university that I came to a disturbing realization – the art materials I was using were environmental hazards. Paint is toxic and its everywhere, coating our cars, homes, offices, canvas and just about every modern artifact. No matter how deep we dig our landfills paint re-enters our environment eventually. After years of research and experimentation I have finally developed a way of making my paintings eco-friendly. You can learn more about the art I make and how you can too, at www.stefanthompson.com
