Virus

Virus is currently a successful artist, illustrator and designer based out of Vancouver.
Drawing and painting since childhood, his talent came naturaly and was a
favourite pastime to him. In his youth he was inspired by early
graffiti art and put years of practice and production into large
scale murals, he soon became infamous amoungst the inter-
national community of Hip Hop culture. He has been active
as an aerosol artist since 1988 as one on Canada’s pioneers
of the artform.He has produced
countless numbers of paintings, illustrations and graphics in
the related music and fashion scene. He has also had his work
auctioned alongside the works of Jean-Michel Basquiat and
Keith Haring in the Guernsey’s Auction House, NYC. His
work has been published in numerous art , music and fashion
related books and magazines. He is self taught and made
the natural progression from drawing and painting
mediums to mastering the use of the computer as a tool
with his commercial work. Virus currently works with clients in the clothing
industry like Supreme, Wings and Horns, Vans and Nike to name
a few. He almost always has a twist to his creations and aspires
to leave something more to the viewer to see or think about
than just a pretty picture.
